Suomen, Ruotsin, Norjan ja Tanskan amerikkalaisen jalkapallon lajiliitot ovat sopineet yhteispohjoismaisesta tyttöjen leirityksestä. Ensimmäinen leiri järjestetään maaliskuussa Tukholmassa. Ilmoittautuminen on avattu.

Pohjoismaiset amerikkalaisen jalkapallon lajiliitot ovat sopineet yhteispohjoismaisesta tyttöjen leiritysprojektista, jonka tavoitteena on lajin tunnettuuden kasvattaminen tyttöjen keskuudessa, kansallisten sarjojen käynnistäminen sekä PM-tason kilpailutoiminta.

Ensimmäinen leiri järjestetään Tukholmassa 9.-11.3.2018. Suomesta on kutsuttu mukaan kaikki 12-20 -vuotiaat tytöt, kokeneet ja uudet lajin harrastajat. Kutsu on liitteenä sekä Nordic Girls Campin Facebook -ryhmässä, ja sitä saa jakaa edelleen.

Suomen liitosta leirin vetovastuussa on Alexandra Naumanen ja leiriin osallistuu myös valmentajana tyttöjen sarjapäällikkö Jarkko Hiitola. Suomen ryhmä matkustaa yhdessä lentäen. Leirin hinta on n. 200€, jonka lisäksi tulevat matkan kustannukset.

Ilmoittautumisia vastaanotetaan kutsun ohjeiden mukaan. Paikkoja on rajoitetusti, joten osallistumisinfo on hyvä tehdä pian!

It’s time for GIRLS

What: First Nordic American Football Camp for Girls

Where: Stockholm, Sweden

When: Friday 9. - Sunday 11. March, 2018

Who: Girls aged 12-20 (in 2018), experienced and new players to the sport

Dear young athlete, you are warmly welcome to the first Nordic Girls Camp for American Football. The Nordic organizations of American football invite you and your friends to our first Nordic Girls Camp in Stockholm, Sweden, to learn football skills, games and tactics and gain new friends from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. We will have fun practices and we’ll talk about the future of the game - for you girls.

You can have played for years, or started recently - we’ll arrange the practice groups so that all will learn more and have fun. There will be coaches from all countries involved. Some of the practices will be in full equipment, so please ask your local teams to borrow gear, if you don’t have your own yet.

The cost of the camp will be appx. 200€. The price includes:

  • Full football-program: turf-time Saturday and Sunday with game-like situations, inspirational lectures from players and coaches
  • Scandic-hotel accommodation in 2-4 persons rooms for 2 nights
  • Saturday and Sunday meals
  • Bus transportations Friday from & Sunday to Arlanda airport

Travels to Arlanda airport in Stockholm are going to be organized by country contacts and are paid separately by participants.
