Which team will grab the gold The Nordic Championships finals will be played at the Myyrmäen Urheilupuisto arena today on Saturday. Team Finland faces team Sweden and both teams are pursuing the championship title. Both teams have dangerous offenses that can make big plays, but the key to victory is which team succeeds in defense and which team gets more physical. Kick off starts at 13:00 pm and you can also watch the game trough a webstream at SAJL website. Things that the Finns should closely keep an eye on, is the Swedish team's powerful running game. Especially the lion defense should watch out for running back Vilinhton Tengroth who partially hammered the Danish defense to it’s knees. The Finns headcoach Tero Virtanen knows well how to disarm the Swedish offense. - We have to succeed in our game like we did in the game against Denmark. Sweden has good running game so we have to be able to get our defense very physical, says Virtanen. The Finns offense have also plenty of firepower. Especially wide receiver Daniel Luoma and running back Karri Pajarinen which the Finns offense many times relies on, will surely have a huge workload in today’s game.
